Moderate intensity aerobic activity means you’re working hard enough to raise your heart rate and break a sweat. One way to tell is that you’ll be able to talk, but not sing the words to your favorite song.
Doing water aerobics
Riding a bike on level ground
Walking in a pool
Playing doubles tennis
Pushing a lawn mower
The list is endless, get creative
When beginning cardio workouts, keep it only challenging. This will allow your body time to adjust to your increased activity level. Gradually increase the challenge as what you are currently doing becomes easy. When it's easy, it's time to add a little more effort or time. Take your activity level up gradually for the healthiest results.
